Recipe Processing

When you scan a recipe:

1. The image is processed locally on your device
2. The image is temporarily sent to Google Vision API for text extraction
3. The extracted text is sent to OpenAI to convert it into structured recipe data
4. The processed recipe data is stored locally on your device
5. No images or recipe data are permanently stored on our servers or by third-party services

Analytics and Subscription Services

• PostHog: Processes usage analytics data to help us understand app performance and user behavior
• RevenueCat: Manages subscription status and processes payment information
• Google Vision API: Temporarily processes recipe images for text extraction only
• OpenAI: Temporarily processes extracted text to structure recipe data

Data Storage and Security

• Local Storage: All recipe data and images are stored locally on your device
• No Account Required: We do not require you to create an account or provide personal identifying information
